Formerly the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Academy, the Bullpen is an incubator and instructional workshop for Duke students who are looking to be the next start-up superstar. Duke Innovation & Entrepreneurship (Duke I&E) wanted to create excitement around the opportunities they offered for students, and a brand identity that was as contemporary as their new office.

REVERED explored visuals that represent Downtown Durham, the “Bull City,” and focused on creating a logo that was meaningful and energetic. The final logo takes the colors and angles from the Duke I&E logo and turns them around to create a visual representing a bull in a pen. The angles point outward to represent motion and innovation in all directions, while the still keeping an open and welcoming feel. A brand identity was created to provide direction on using visual elements from the logo to create engaging communication materials.
